We're excited to share the latest updates from the Galahad missions on Mars! Our team of astronauts and scientists have been hard at work exploring the Red Planet and conducting groundbreaking research. From discovering new geological formations to testing advanced technologies, the Galahad missions push the boundaries of what's possible in space exploration. Check out our latest news briefs below for a glimpse into the latest developments from our team.

[Editor's note: The stories below are from Galahad 1 and from the era leading up to the Galahad missions.  Stay tuned for our first news story about the arrival of Galahad 2.]

Construction of Pendragon Station, the home base for the upcoming Galahad-1 mission to Mars, has begun using advanced robotics technology.

JPL scientists studying Jezero Crater have discovered significant amounts of water ice in the Martian regolith, a major breakthrough that could pave the way for future human activities on Mars.

Despite a severe dust storm that disrupted communications and power, the team at Pendragon Station reports that the station has weathered the storm and all systems remain operational.

Astronauts completed the first successful extravehicular activity (EVA) on the Martian surface today, marking a significant achievement in the history of human space exploration.

The completion of construction of Avalon, an automated robotic facility at Pendragon Station, marks a significant step in enabling long-term human habitation on Mars, with its ability to produce water for the ongoing needs of the base, as well as for fuel generation for the return trip.

The small helicopter carried aboard Galahad-1 successfully completed its first test flight today, hovering a few meters above the Martian surface for 90 seconds while executing three simple flight maneuvers before returning to its base station.

The crew of Galahad-1 gathered together for a special Thanksgiving meal today, complete with traditional turkey and all the trimmings, even though they are millions of miles away from home.

As the Galahad-1 mission comes to a close, the crew prepares to leave Pendragon Station and make way for the Galahad-2 team's arrival.
